I knew Patrick from a mutual friend, Chung Ping, who is one of my photography acquaintance. I learned that Patrick met Zyra through an interesting turn of event, when he was doing part time night job at the Night Safari. He drives the tram, while she is the 'tour guide' for the tourists. Zyra was initially not that fond of the coughing driver (the name Patrick called himself) but despite all the obstacles and differences, they finally got together.
The wedding itself, as Patrick wanted it to be, a simple and more 'western' kind of wedding. He did away with the typical gate crashing, the tea ceremony, and just had a simple ROM at the foyer outside the ballroom. Nonetheless, the heartwarming speech made by their best friends, the parents, as well as the couple themselves were the highlight of the day.
