Bryan and Ann tied the knot last Sunday, 5th June 2011 at Raffles Hotel. I accompanied Matthias Chng as a 2nd shooter. The day started with a heavy downpour which thankfully did not dampen the mood of the gatecrash. The bridesmaid and the groom played a simple game that involved tying the groom's legs and the brothers together. Then, they had to climb three floors together, which was quite a challenging task. After that, they were not let up and the groom had to endure further prank by having to wear an underwear. It seems like wearing underwear is becoming a staple in most wedding gatecrash nowadays (the previous wedding of Chun Chia & Wendy also had similar stuff). Finally, the last step was to consume a durian concocted with special sauce that emitted some really nasty smell.
The evening dinner was fairly simple, with couples giving their thank you speech to their grandparents, parents, and all their friends from different walks of life. Then, the best man and the bridesmaid also gave their speech that recalled the old days how they got to know the bride and groom , and the advice that they give to the newlywed. Finally, Bryan sang Ann her favorite song, using a tiny 'guitar' which was really touching. Wishing Bryan and Ann a happy marriage!
